Befriending the Darkness: Wild Mind Journey

December 11, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

As autumn shifts and the darkness grows within each day, creative energies begin to emerge from the darkness of things. Come into wild nature as darkness falls and night approaches. There, you will be guided to explore your relationships and befriend your own darkness with experienced Wild Mind (TM) guides. Explore the truth that is hidden; unseen yet still true.

Meeting location: Pogonip Park: The “top” of Spring Street (off Highland) where Spring Street & Spring Court intersect. Park on street. · Santa Cruz (95060), CA

“Sweet Darkness”

Time to go into the dark
where the night has eyes
to recognize its own.

There you can be sure
you are not beyond love.

The dark will be your home

The night will give you a horizon
further than you can see.

You must learn one thing.
The world was made to be free in.

Nature-based questing is not your typical walk in the woods. It is a radical way to dive deeply within your personal ecology and effectively re-imagine your world. Our approach is to cultivate wholeness through the integration of ancient Chinese medicine and modern eco-psychology. Create a world that is founded on your inmost self, your longings for humanity, its evolution and your most profound connection to nature.

We offer day-long journeys and also guide week and year-long quests. These immersions allow you to apprentice with nature and the wisdom embedded in each of the seasons.
