The Best Healthy Summer Food

Summer is the season of heart & cardio vascular health. Invigorate your blood! Sweat out the old and bring in the new with the abundance of juicy fresh ripe fruits and vegetables and leafy greens. It is the time to open the pores which connect to the outdoors.

This is the time of year to blossom like summer fruits. Connect with the the natural external environment. Instead of hiding out inside in the air conditioning take advantage of the summer heat to sweat it out! Go outside, get your toes in the sand, your hands in the dirt. Dive in the ocean or the river. Get out of your head and into your body.

Kids know how to do summer time. Follow their lead!

If your head is feeling foggy, your complexion dull or gray, if you are feeling anxious or having trouble sleeping and speaking you are probably out of sync with summer. If you are like a plant left in the dusty corner when it’s beautiful outdoors, go out side and play. Blast your pipes!  Don’t come inside until your knees are covered with grass stains and you are panting and sweaty. .
